As many of you will know by now, the Community Forums have been down for some time. Those of you who raised support tickets about this will also know that the reason for the Community Forums failing was a lack of capacity - We just never imagined how busy our community would get when we first designed them!

So... We could just restore the forums from our back ups and leave at that, but - That's likely to lead to the same problem occuring again in the near future.

What we've decided to do instead is start from scratch. We're going to rebuild the forums from the ground up, building in a great deal more capacity this time, as well as a few extra functions that users had been requesting.

In the meantime you can still get support from us through the helpdesk system.

How long will this take?
Well, obviously we want to make sure that we give user support requests priority over having the new forums completed, so this could vary. We aim to have them complete within four weeks, possibly sooner.
However, this ETA could get pushed back if there is an increase in support tickets, or some other problem that needs our attention.
